Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), in partnership with AAP (Automobile Association Philippines), is providing FREE 24/7 Emergency Roadside Assistance for eligible Toyota vehicles.
This program reinforces Toyota's commitment to road safety and dependable customer support, ensuring help is available whenever and wherever it's needed.
Eligible Vehicles
1. Tamaraw & Liteace
Applicable to units sold starting August 1, 2026
2. SSC Takata Affected Vehicles
Applicable to affected vehicles repaired starting August 1, 2026
What's Covered
Members are entitled to one (1) roadside assistance intervention or up to 25 kilometers of towing distance, whichever comes first.
Roadside assistance services include:
- Flat tire replacement using the vehicle's spare tire
- Battery boosting
- Simple mechanical repairs
- Emergency fuel provision
- Towing to the nearest Toyota dealer (when necessary)
Membership Activation
Getting started is quick and easy.
- Membership benefits become available seven (7) days after successful activation.
- Membership is valid for one (1) year, beginning from the vehicle release date.
- Upon vehicle purchase, customers will receive a membership card with a QR code.

AAP Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERS)
Towing Rules and Provisions
1. COVERAGE
AAP Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERS) is available to active AAP members and authorized program participants, subject to applicable membership benefits, service limitations, and coverage areas.
ERS services may include:
- Towing Assistance
- Battery Boost
- Flat Tire Assistance
- Fuel Delivery
- Minor Roadside Assistance
Services are available nationwide, subject to operational feasibility, weather conditions, accessibility, peace and order conditions, and availability of accredited service providers.
2. MEMBERSHIP ACTIVATION
ERS benefits shall become available seven (7) days after successful membership activation unless otherwise specified under special programs or promotional partnerships.
3. TOWING ENTITLEMENT
Free towing assistance shall be subject to the applicable towing distance and intervention limits of the member’s membership type or program coverage.
Any towing distance beyond the free entitlement shall be charged at:
P150 per kilometer
Additional charges may apply for:
- Toll fees
- Parking fees
- Special access fees (subdivisions, privately used roads, mall parking lots)
- Recovery services
- Extended waiting time
- Special equipment requirements
4. NON-MEMBER SERVICE
Non-members requesting towing assistance may be charged:
- Mobilization fee
- Per-kilometer towing charges
- Applicable operational and recovery fees
Charges shall depend on vehicle type, location, accessibility, and operational requirements.
5. WAITING TIME
AAP personnel and accredited tow operators shall wait up to thirty (30) minutes at the pick-up or drop-off location.
Waiting time beyond thirty (30) minutes shall be charged at: P560 per hour
6. CARGO AND LOAD REQUIREMENTS
Stalled or disabled vehicles carrying cargo, goods, merchandise, or heavy loads must unload such cargo prior to towing or transport operations.
AAP and its accredited tow operators reserve the right to decline towing service if the cargo load poses operational, safety, or equipment risks.
The motorist or vehicle owner shall be responsible for the unloading, transfer, security, and safekeeping of all cargo or transported items.
7. VEHICLE CONDITION INSPECTION
Prior to towing or roadside assistance service, the accredited tow operator shall conduct a visual inspection of the vehicle and document its visible condition using a standardized service checklist and/or photo documentation.
The checklist may include:
- Visible pre-existing damages
- Vehicle accessories
- Tire condition
- Body condition
- Operational observations
Upon completion of the service, the motorist or authorized representative shall review and sign the checklist to acknowledge the recorded vehicle condition before and after the service.
8. BASEMENT AND SPECIAL RECOVERY
Basement, multi-level parking, or restricted-access recovery operations may be subject to additional charges and operational assessment.
AAP reserves the right to decline recovery operations deemed unsafe or operationally unfeasible.
9. ROADWORTHINESS REQUIREMENT
ERS towing services shall apply only to roadworthy four-wheel vehicles duly registered with the appropriate government agencies.
For purposes of these provisions, “roadworthy” refers to vehicles capable of normal road operation and not classified as salvage, abandoned, heavily damaged, or structurally unsafe units.
10. EXCLUDED AREAS
Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Basilan, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Compostela Valley, Catanduanes, Masbate, Saranggani, Batanes, Romblon, Marinduque, Guimaras, Camiguin
AAP reserves the right to suspend or decline service operations in areas affected by:
- Severe weather conditions
- Flooding
- Civil disturbance
- Natural disasters
- Security risks
- Government restrictions
Updated coverage areas and exclusions may be published through official AAP advisories and digital platforms.
11. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
The motorist or authorized representative shall:
- Provide accurate vehicle and location information
- Secure personal belongings and valuables
- Ensure vehicle accessibility
- Cooperate with safety and operational instructions
- Settle applicable excess and special charges not covered by membership benefits
AAP shall not be liable for loss of personal belongings, cargo, merchandise, or unsecured items left inside the vehicle.
12. OPERATIONAL LIMITATIONS
AAP reserves the right to:
- Decline unsafe operations
- Suspend service due to force majeure conditions
- Require special recovery assessment
- Assign the nearest available accredited service provider
- Modify operational procedures as necessary for safety and efficiency
13. LIABILITY
AAP and its accredited service providers shall exercise reasonable care in the performance of ERS operations.
However, AAP shall not be liable for:
- Pre-existing vehicle damage
- Mechanical failure unrelated to towing operations
- Cargo or merchandise loss
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, accessibility, or force majeure events
- Indirect or consequential damages
14. FINAL PROVISIONS
These Towing Rules and Provisions may be updated, revised, or supplemented by AAP from time to time to improve operational efficiency, customer service, and safety standards.
All ERS services shall remain subject to AAP operational policies and approved service guidelines.
