Meet Akio "Morizo" Toyoda, GAZOO Racing's Maestro

Akio Toyoda, Toyota Motor Corporation's current Chairman (frequently referred to as "Morizo") revved up the hearts of Filipino fans at the GAZOO Racing festival through masterful and adrenaline-inducing driving skills via a range of Toyota GR sports car models.

Morizo took on a challenging driving course with ease, reminding car enthusiasts of why he is a legendary Toyota racer. Some lucky car enthusiasts even got the ride of their lives when Morizo took them for a heart-pumping spin and showed them what elite driving skills are like.

Morizo was also pleased to see the smiles of countless event-goers at the GAZOO Racing Festival, and stressed how developing well-manufactured cars delivers happiness and satisfaction to people.

Morizo immediately won the crowd over as he kickstarted the event with a series of donuts pulled off in the Toyota GR Yaris WRC. He also took part in the Gymkhana challenge, further showcasing his elite driving skills in the fan-favorite Toyota GR 86.

Seasoned racing veterans, Katsuta Norihiko and Sasaki Masahiro, graced the 2-day Toyota GAZOO Racing Festival and delivered adrenaline-fueled driving performances with the legendary Toyota WRC Yaris and Red Bull GR Corolla.

Local Toyota racing talents, namely Marlon Stockinger, Ryan Agoncillo, Alex Perez, and Luis Gono participated, too, in the GAZOO Racing Festival.
